Veterinary Rehabilitation Services, LLC
We are a mobile veterinary physical rehabilitation and acupuncture practice for dogs and cats. We come to you and provide our services where your pet is most comfortable. We are a veterinarian-owned and managed, local small business. Our main goals are to provide pain relief, reduce inflammation, maximize mobility and increase strength, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of our patients, as well as the people who share their lives with them.
Dr. Meyer, VMD CCRP CVA
I am a licensed veterinarian (VMD), a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), and a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). During my studies, I also received a Companion Animal Pain Management Certificate through the CCRP program, and a National Veterinary Business Management Certificate with Honors via the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
I have been involved in the field of veterinary rehabilitation since 2011, first as a Veterinary Assistant in the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center of New York’s Rehabilitation & Fitness Service, then as a veterinary student extern in two local rehabilitation clinics, and as a practicing veterinarian.
Veterinary rehabilitation is my passion. Professionally, it energizes me. I am inspired by the positive impact that these methodologies can have on my patients’ and their caregivers’ lives. I love working with my patients and the people who accompany them to their sessions and I strive to do everything in my power to promote healing and encourage mobility and strength. I stay up-to-date on the latest research, learning about new tools and methods, seeking out other professionals’ perspectives and experiences, and attending conferences and webinars.
Growing up, I was a child who surrounded herself with animals and who would spend hours petting, grooming, playing and simply being near my pets. As a veterinarian, I have taken great care not to lose the wonder that I experienced in the company of animals. It is a priority of mine to nurture and respect the human-animal bond that exists between my client and their pet, as well as the one that develops over time between my patient and myself. My goal at each session is to create a positive working environment that lends itself to healing. My patients benefit from many rewards and calming aids throughout their time with me and they are always handled with gentle care and motivated by positive encouragement.
I live in Lower Merion with my husband, our two beautiful children, our sweet and perfect senior dog (who we have had since she was 4 months old), and the two cats we rescued from veterinary ERs where I worked; one spunky, one skittish, both very loving and happy in their new home.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy taking walks with my dog around the neighborhood, listening to a good audiobook, playing tennis, practicing my French, Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin, steadily converting our yard into a native wildlife habitat, attending performances, and spending time soaking up life in the company of my family and friends.

Designed by the talented illustrator and architect, Pearl Ting Ting Ho, our logo pays homage to my soul dog, Audrey, and my soul cat Andy, who is no longer with us. I chose to feature animals who have touched my life in the way that only soul pets know how, as a symbol of the beauty and depth of the human-animal bond, and as a tribute to the departed animals who have shaped and changed us as well as to those who continue to bless and better our lives each day.
